Status Disclosure

Who are we?

Time Motors Limited is a vehicle dealership acting as a credit broker. This means we can help
arrange finance for your vehicle purchase, but we are not a lender.

Are we authorised to arrange finance for you?

Yes. Time Motors Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for credit-broking activities. Our FCA Firm Reference Number is 748364. You can check this on the FCA Register at https://register.fca.org.uk/. Please note: business or corporate customers may not be protected under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 or FCA rules in the same way as individual consumers.

How can we help with vehicle finance?

We work with a panel of finance providers ('funders') who may be able to offer you finance.

These include:

·         Motonovo Finance Limited

·         Close Brothers Motor Finance

·         Motion Finance

·         DSG Financial Services Limited.

We may also be able to introduce you to other funders not listed above. We will explain the main features of available finance products and, where we recommend a product, we will ensure that it is suitable based on the information you give us about your needs and circumstances. Finance is always subject to status, affordability, and terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to secure finance for you.

Can we give you independent financial advice?

No. We are not independent financial advisers and do not provide independent financial advice. Our role is to introduce you to finance options available from our panel of lenders.

Do you have to pay for our service, or do we receive a commission?

You do not pay us for using our finance-broking service. However, we may receive a commission or other form of payment from the lender or another credit broker for introducing you to them. The amount we receive can vary between funders and may be based on factors such as the amount borrowed, the vehicle type, or the product chosen. This commission does not affect the rate you pay. We cannot change your interest rate in order to receive a higher commission. If you would like to know the amount (or likely amount) of commission we may receive before you enter into a finance agreement, please ask us. We will be happy to provide this information.

Our commitment under the FCA Consumer Duty

We are committed to treating all customers fairly and ensuring good outcomes in line with the FCA’s Consumer Duty. This means we aim to provide clear information, suitable finance options, and transparent communication throughout your journey.

How will we use your information?

We will use your personal information to obtain finance quotations from our panel of funders or brokers, process finance applications, and carry out identity, credit, and fraud-prevention checks.

Credit searches may be recorded on your credit file and visible to other organisations. Personal data may be shared with lenders, brokers, and fraud prevention agencies for verification and anti-fraud purposes.

If fraud is detected, you may be refused certain services, finance, or employment.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZA311502.

You can find details of how we use and protect your data in our Privacy Notice, available at www.timemotors.co.uk/privacy or by request.
